Job summary
McGriff Tire & Service in Mobile, AL is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to perform repairs and routine maintenance on semi-trailers. You will troubleshoot brakes, electrical, tires, floors, welding, and hydraulics while following company safety policies and DOT requirements.

Qualifications
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to perform repairs and inspections.
- DOT physical and drug test requirements must be passed.
- Clean MVR is required.
- DOT inspections experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on trailers in accordance with schedules.
- Inspect and repair trailers, including brakes, tires, floors, and hydraulics.
- Access and work in/under all trailer areas as needed.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations.
