American Transportation Services in Carson, CA, is seeking qualified trailer mechanics to maintain trailer equipment for a Fortune 500 client in a clean, well-maintained environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year trailer repair experience.
• Must pass background check.
• Must be 18 years old and have basic computer skills.
• Willing to work toward DOT inspections, Air brake certifications, and ASE certification.
• MIG welding preferred.
• Able to diagnose and repair ABS and S cam brake systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform FAI and State required inspections.
• Inspect and repair S cam air brake systems.
• Diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems.
• Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies.
• Complete required paperwork and computer records.
