Job summary

Kirk NationaLease in Laurinburg, NC is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our full-service shop. 4+ years trailer repair experience required; diesel mechanic experience preferred; you will perform scheduled maintenance and light–moderate repairs.

You must have your own tools, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to work a daytime 40-hour shift. We offer sign-on/referral bonuses, weekly pay, and benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• 4+ years trailer repair experience required.
• 4+ years diesel mechanic preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Personal tools required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and light–moderate diesel repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, clutches, wheel seals, and other systems.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
