Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking skilled trailer mechanics to join our team and keep our award-winning fleet moving. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet trailers, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, overtime opportunities, and a 401(k) with company match after 90 days. Applicants should have strong mechanical aptitude and prior body/automotive/fleet experience, with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Past body/automotive/fleet mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
• Rebuild and repair equipment components as needed
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
