Job summary

CDN Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to support preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a modern trailer fleet. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and documenting service history in a team-oriented shop.

Responsibilities include DOT inspections, ABS and air-system repairs, and structural work. Candidates should have 1+ year of relevant experience, own basic tools, and be able to work outdoors if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• HS Diploma/GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year diesel, mechanic, or forklift maintenance experience.
• Hands-on mechanical experience required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must own a basic set of tools.
• Read documentation and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT-compliant inspections (pre-trip, post-trip, annual).
• Diagnose and repair ABS, lighting, air system leaks.
• Conduct structural repairs including minor welding.
• Inspect and repair suspension, landing gear, coupling components.
• Maintain maintenance records and service history.
