Job summary

N&M Transfer Company, Inc. in Wisconsin is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift Trailer Mechanics to maintain and repair a fleet of nearly 400 trailers.

You will perform preventive maintenance, brake work, welding, electrical repairs, tires, and DOT inspections, with training available for candidates who show mechanical aptitude. 2nd shift: four days per week from 3pm to 1am; 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience or education in trailer repair is ideal.
• Willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Position Description

N&M Transfer is currently searching for 2nd and 3rd Shift Trailer Mechanics. Our Trailer Mechanics are responsible for the preventative maintenance and general repairs on our fleet of nearly 400 company owned trailers. Repairs include brake jobs, welding, fabricating, electrical work, tires, body work, preventative maintenance, and DOT inspections.

2 nd Shift: 4 days/week, 3pm – 1am

3 rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11pm – 7am

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Previous work experience or a secondary education in trailer repair is ideal
• We are willing to train the right individual with general mechanical aptitude and a passion to enjoy a challenging and rewarding career as a Trailer Mechanic
