The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, possess a valid Class 7 Inspection License (CDL preferred), and be equipped to perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and correct documentation

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with electronic diagnostics and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to meet DOT and company standards.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air and hydraulic brakes, tires, suspension and steering systems, electrical systems, drivelines, and mobile A/C and refrigeration.
• Trailer doors, floors, and side panels; engine overhauls and rebuilds.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work as needed to maintain and restore trailer equipment.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of all repairs using internal systems.
• Work collaboratively with safety, operations, and driving staff to reduce vehicle downtime and ensure compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety procedures.
• Perform occasional service calls and work overtime as needed.

Requirements:

Valid Class 7 Inspection License (required)

CDL License (preferred)

Must own your own tools

Must pass DOT physical, background check, and drug test

Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, with solid trailer repair experience

Familiarity with electronic diagnostics and repair procedures
