RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking a Mobile Trailer Mechanic to travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to diagnose, repair, and maintain tractor-trailer equipment. The role suits a self-motivated, safety-conscious mechanic who enjoys outdoor work and supporting fleet operations.

You will help keep trailers and fleets on the road by delivering timely, high-quality repairs in the field, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses after probation.

Qualifications

• Trailer repair experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Operate and maintain a mobile service truck.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
• Weekend and on-call availability as needed.

Job Summary

As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance ontractor trailer equipment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, safety-conscious trailer mechanic who enjoys working independently, outdoors, and directly supporting fleet operations.

You’ll be responsible for keeping our customers’ trailers and fleets on the road by delivering high-quality, timely repairs in the field.
