Job summary

Central Transport is seeking skilled technicians to perform preventive maintenance and trailer repairs at our Memphis, TN facility. You will inspect brakes, tires, lights, and critical components, ensuring safe, reliable service for our fleet.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience and a basic tools set; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Company-paid training and comprehensive benefits accompany a competitive hourly wage with paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
• Repair trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis
• Repairing tears on the sides of containers
• Replacing lights
• Tire repair
• Landing gear repair
• Frame repair
