Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Maintenance Specialist-Trailer to oversee preventative maintenance and upkeep of comfort stations and trailers for events and projects.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs, manage cleaning chemicals, and read safety instructions, with basic arithmetic for inventory and records. English preferred; bilingual a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience performing minor repairs of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and chemical supplies; painting ability.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• English speaking preferred; bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Check, wash, repair, paint and store restrooms, showers, containers and assets.
• Inspect water-recycling system daily.
• Units must be checked and repaired before delivery and after return.
• Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Clean and disinfect trailer interiors after events.
• Restock toilet paper, towels, liners, soap and air fresheners.
• Pressure clean entrance carpets.
• Exterior trailer detailing, including washing, waxing and light repairs.
• Report issues to supervisor and communicate completed work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
