Job summary

Bakery Feeds is hiring a Trailer & Diesel FleetMechanic II for our Honey Brook, PA team. The role offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with potential after-hours or weekend overtime based on business needs.

Expect competitive pay and advancement opportunities within Darling Ingredients. With at least 1 year of relevant experience, you’ll work on trailers and heavy equipment, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanic experience on trailers, diesel trucks, or heavy equipment.
• Experience repairing brakes and using diagnostic tools.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, transmissions and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot air brake systems, suspensions, and drivetrains.
• Maintain service records and complete work orders in fleet management systems.
• Respond to roadside service calls as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and plant equipment.
• Mentor and assist Mechanic 1 as needed.
• Document work performed and parts used in logs.
