Job summary

Interstate Group LLC is seeking a Production Worker in Glen Lyn, VA to support the trailer skin department by attaching fenders, wall trim, and aluminum sheets, and by wiring trailer lighting while ensuring quality and safety throughout the process.

The role requires proficiency with sheet metal work, applying tapes, caulking, decals, and reading tape measures, with a fast-paced team environment and opportunities to train in other production tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience using cutting and assembly tools is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install aluminum sheets, specialized tapes, caulk, and decals with attention to detail.
• Attach fenders and wall trim to trailers.
• Hook up and test trailer lighting to ensure functionality.
• Consistently meet high quality and control standards throughout the production process.
• Learn and become proficient in other production roles, stepping in to assist other team members as necessary.
• Work in a fast paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
