Job summary

THPRD seeks a Nature & Trails Technician in Beaverton, Oregon to support restoration of natural areas, maintain trails, and engage with the public on ecological matters. This seasonal role requires outdoor work in varied conditions for up to six months, with a typical 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience performing park/ trails maintenance and restoration tasks.
• Strong customer service orientation when engaging with the public.
• Ability to operate common park maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parks and facilities as part of the Nature & Trails team.
• Assist in restoring natural areas and trail upkeep.
• Provide information about the Park District and ecological concerns to visitors.
• Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely.
