Conservation Legacy seeks a Crew Leader II for the Conservation Corps North Carolina program based out of Old Fort, NC. You will lead a trail crew, mentor assistants, and supervise saw work and trail construction under Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Pisgah National Forest.

You will manage safety, coordinate with partners, and ensure timely documentation while supporting crew development and a positive outdoor work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, understand and write English.
• Faller B Chainsaw certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Wilderness First Aid (WFA) or CPR/First Aid certification required before season start.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a crew of young adults in conservation projects.
• Oversee trail construction, maintenance, and hazard mitigation efforts.
• Ensure safety, delivery of quality work, and adherence to program policies.
