Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a PE license, along with 4+ years in traffic engineering. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic engineering.
Experience in zoning and site plan permitting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with NJDOT, NYSDOT, PennDOT Design and Permitting.
Responsibilities
Teach and train entry-level to mid-level designers and analysts.
Preparation of Traffic Impact and Parking Studies.
Design of Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans.
Project management responsibilities including field inspection.
Prepare project reports and attend municipal meetings.
