Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design, a full-service Professional Engineering and Consulting Firm in Rutherford, NJ, is recruiting a Project Manager for the Traffic/Transportation team. The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic engineering and hold a PE license, to lead project delivery and client coordination.

Responsibilities include preparing Traffic Impact and Parking Studies, performing Capacity Analyses, designing Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a licensed PE.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with traffic engineering.
• Experience with zoning and site plan permitting preferred.
• Proficiency in Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train entry-level to mid-level designers and analysts.
• Prepare Traffic Impact and Parking Studies; Intersection Capacity Analyses.
• Design Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans.
• Prepare Maintenance and Traffic Control drawings and directives.
• Develop submission documents to jurisdictional bodies; manage projects.
• Attend and present before municipal, county, and state meetings.
