Job summary

The Traffic Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Traffic Technician in Maryland to support data collection and equipment maintenance. You will program, deploy, and retrieve traffic counting devices, collect field data, and operate data downloads for reporting.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with a signing bonus of $1,000 after six months of employment. Applicants are required to view the orientation video before starting, and attention to detail is part of the selection criteria.

Responsibilities

• Programs and places traffic counting machines and tubes onto roadway as instructed.
• Collects traffic counting machines at conclusion of counts
• Downloads data from traffic counters to computer and prepares printouts
• Conducts turning movement counts when requested
• Helps to maintain traffic counting equipment
