Salary Range for each position level
Traffic Systems Technician I, A15, $38,976 - $58,045/year
Traffic Systems Technician II, A17, $42,976 - $64,469/year

Maximum Salary: $64,469.00

Responsibilities include activities related to installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traffic systems, communication, illumination, and data collection devices. Work may involve heavy traffic and statewide travel, requiring contact with government and private entities. Employees follow specific instructions and are reviewed regularly by supervisors.
Key duties include:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: For Technician II, at least 1 year in construction, electrical troubleshooting, traffic systems, or related fields
Licenses and Certifications: Valid US Commercial Class "A" Driver's License with "N" Endorsement required
Subject to environmental conditions, hazards, and required safety gear. Physical demands include lifting, balancing, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, and visual acuity. A pre-employment physical and drug test are required, with random drug testing for safety-sensitive positions.
