Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Traffic Studies/Planning Engineer for our DeBary, FL office. This role will lead traffic studies, support business development, and maintain client relationships in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a Florida PE license or the ability to obtain it soon. Strong communication skills and safety planning experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in a few months.
• Traffic Engineering experience, and/or planning, analysis and studies experience.
• Great written and oral communication skills.
• Safety Planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Traffic Studies and related analyses for department projects.
• Support CSMs with client outreach and relationships.
• Draft and review scopes and fees for new projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
• Support the Traffic Department Manager and Group Manager for operational needs.
• Participate in traffic studies related to strategic and growth initiatives.
• Assist with major project pursuits and local client relationships.
• Provide project quality assurance and support the technical organization.

Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Traffic Studies/Planning Engineer for our DeBary, FL office.

• Project quality assurance and project team support; support of technical organization; and support of business development.
• Participate in traffic studies related to strategic and growth initiatives. Assist with major project pursuits, new business development, and local client relationships
• Support CSMs, with client outreach where appropriate.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
• Lead Traffic Studies.
• Draft and review scopes and fees for new projects.
• Serve as traffic studies lead on key department projects.
• Recommend operating policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support the Traffic Department Manager(s) and the Traffic and ITS Group Manager for various operational needs.
• Perform other functions delegated by the Traffic and ITS Engineering Group Manager and/or Transportation Market Leader.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or be able to obtain in a few months
• Traffic Engineering experience, and/or planning, analysis and studies experience
