A leading electrical contractor in Kentucky is seeking a Traffic Signal/Lighting Trainee to assist with building traffic signals and roadway lighting. Candidates should be prepared to learn on the job and eventually acquire a Class A CDL. Qualifications

• CDL permit level or above recommended but not required upon hire.
• 1+ years of experience recommended but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting technicians and foreman with daily tasks.
• Learning basic tasks to build traffic signals and roadway lighting.
• Perform trenching and placing conduit, building electrical services, and installing wire.
• Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Work outdoors and on roadways.
