Job summary

Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking a Signal/Lighting/Electrical Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair traffic signals, roadway lighting, and ITS systems in the Flagstaff area. The role requires readiness to participate in a 24-hour call-back schedule and respond to posts within 30 minutes, including after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Class A CDL within 6 months.
• Experience with traffic signals, roadway lighting and ITS is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic electrical, electronic and/or mechanical duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair traffic signals, roadway lighting, and ITS.
• Operate and train on motorized and related equipment to perform duties.
• Respond to duty posts within 30 minutes and participate in 24-hour call back rotations.
