The City of Little Rock is seeking a skilled Electrician/Traffic Signal Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective traffic signal controllers, signal heads, detection systems, displays, streetlights and pedestrian signal devices. This position is safety-sensitive and may require random drug and alcohol screening.
Applicants should have a high school diploma with related apprenticeship or three years of experience, plus one year of PC usage.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school supplemented by technical or vocational school coursework or apprenticeship in electrical trades work, completion of a recognized four (4) year electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training, OR three (3) years of experience as a skilled Electrician/Traffic Signal Technician, or related area, and one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
