Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, civil or systems engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• EIT/EI certification required for civil degree; others must commit to obtaining EIT/EI within 6 months.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience in related fields.
• Ability to write professionally and communicate clearly with clients across the southeastern US.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic signal design using CAD and field work.
• Assist with corridor retiming, field work, implementation, and fine‑tuning.
• Assist with design computations and plan preparations.
• Assist with other traffic and safety studies, including field work.
• Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Develop project quantities for construction cost estimates.
