The purpose of this position is to support configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of traffic signal systems throughout Jefferson County. Responsibilities include managing traffic simulation tools (Synchro and TransModeler), overseeing engineering functions related to traffic projects, and reviewing plans and specifications.
This role operates independently with limited supervision and reports major activities periodically.
Essential Functions
Primarily sedentary work involving walking, standing, and keyboard operations, exerting up to 10 pounds of force.
