Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Flagger / Traffic Safety Technician (TST) to provide safety and support on job sites. Responsibilities include directing traffic, setting up barricades, and ensuring construction crew safety.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• CPR certified preferred, not required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Use hand signals to direct traffic around road construction sites.
• Communicate with other Flaggers using hand-held radios.
• Inform construction crew of traffic issues affecting safety.
• Position warning and detour signs around construction sites.
• Set up barricades and traffic cones along construction sites.
• Remove all signs and barricades upon completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
