Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to manage traffic control at various job sites. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. Responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining equipment.

The role requires lifting 40–50 pounds, standing outdoors, and working in all weather. Flexible shifts, potential nights and weekends, and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long durations.
• Willingness to work in traffic and variable weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Pass pre-hire screening, including drug testing.
• Alertness around moving traffic and adherence to safety rules.
• Respectful communication with coworkers, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and removing traffic control equipment.
• Guide traffic using stop/slow paddles; monitor site activity.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisor; maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; follow training and safety procedures.
• Flexibility in shift times, including potential nights, weekends, or emergency work.
