Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee Operatives and Qualified Operatives to manage traffic flow and set up temporary traffic lights in Colchester, Vermont.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, possess Lantra-approved Traffic Management Qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include managing traffic compliance, assisting with diversions, and ensuring health and safety regulations are met.

Qualifications

• Lantra-approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
• Experience in one or more of the following positions: TTMBC Operative.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights on required roads.
• Managing traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting anything necessary to the site or operations manager.
• Demonstrating reliability and a positive work attitude.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to achieve optimum output.
• Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Being aware of and complying with provided RAMS.
• Helping with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Following safe working practices outlined in Method Statements.
• Reporting plant and vehicle defects.
