Summary

We are seeking a Traffic Project Manager to lead Traffic Design and Planning projects across all HR Green regions. You will also develop and maintain relationships with key clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage project and team activities.
2. Prepare project proposals, scopes, budgets, and service agreements.
3. Create and monitor project schedules; allocate resources.
4. Manage project financials, invoicing, and assist with AR.
5. Assign budgets, schedules, and deadlines; communicate effectively with the team.
6. Provide guidance, supervision, and make critical decisions to keep projects on track.
7. Maintain positive client relationships and serve as primary contact.
8. Promote repeat and referral business; seek new opportunities.
9. Develop, coach, and mentor staff; delegate tasks; provide on-the-job training.
10. Provide performance feedback to team members.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
2. 8+ years of relevant traffic engineering experience, including studies, analysis, signal design, and modeling.
3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; PTOE certification preferred.
4. Ability to manage project financials, schedules, and budgets effectively.
5. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and staff.
6. Effective delegation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
7. Experience with HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, Corsim, Microstation/Geopak, SignCAD, Rodel is desired.
8. Active involvement in professional organizations like ITE, ITS America, ASCE, or APWA is preferred.

Compensation Range

$109,000.00 - $171,800.00

The final compensation depends on education, experience, skills, and location. It may include base salary and performance bonuses.
