City of Auburn (AL) seeks an experienced Traffic Engineering Manager to lead the Traffic Engineering division. You will oversee professional traffic engineering duties and report to the Engineering Services Director/City Engineer, guiding complex city capital projects.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with PE license in Alabama, 3–5 years’ relevant experience, and strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities within public service.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The work is light work, which requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. Work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, or walking.
