KCI Technologies, Inc. invites students to join our Traffic Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in Nashville. You will gain hands-on experience supporting traffic modeling, data collection, signal design, and corridor studies under experienced engineers.

The program runs 40 hours a week for a minimum of 10 weeks, with a dedicated supervisor and opportunities to present mid- and end-of-summer reports. No prior experience required; ABET-accredited program and GPA constraints apply.

Formación

• Entry level; no prior experience required.
• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 3.0 GPA or higher required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing traffic signal, pavement marking, signing, lighting, and maintenance of traffic plans.
• Support ITS design efforts.
• Conduct traffic data collection (counts, field observations, etc.).
• Assist with traffic impact analyses and traffic operations studies.
• Support traffic safety and transportation planning studies.
• Perform basic traffic analyses using industry software.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Help prepare written technical memoranda and reports.
