HDR invites interns to join our Transportation Business Group for a Summer 2027 Traffic internship in Dallas. You will gain hands-on experience on real projects, supported by mentors and leaders, while applying standard engineering techniques under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, with a GPA around 3.0, and a commitment to our employee-owned culture and collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Participate in real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed
