Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full‑Time Traffic Engineering Intern to join our Valhalla, NY team for a 12‑week summer program starting May 17, 2027. You will work with senior staff on real projects and gain hands‑on experience while developing technical, social, and ethical skills.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in Traffic Engineering or related programs, with a strong interest in the field and a commitment to safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Traffic Engineering undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Strong interest in Traffic Engineering with a desire to develop skills on real projects.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Traffic Engineering and assist with project research and preliminary design calculations.
• Assist in collecting project documentation and support preparation of final design plans.
• Complete training and adhere to company policies and safety standards.
