We’re currently looking for a Traffic Engineer to join our Gold Coast team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, self-motivated Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or P.E. to work on a wide range of projects. As part of our respected team, you’ll have access to resources to support your work and be involved in exciting, challenging assignments.

Traffic Engineer Responsibilities
  • Design and permitting of traffic signal plans for intersection upgrades, school flashers, mid-block crossings, and more
  • Conduct traffic operations and safety studies to identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements for intersections and arterials, including various types of studies such as Qualitative Assessments, Signal Warrant Analysis, and more
  • Perform data collection and analysis for corridor traffic counts, including turning movement counts (TMC), ADT, heavy vehicle counts, and queue length studies
  • Conduct crash analysis and safety evaluations for corridors, arterials, and study intersections
  • Support project traffic forecasts, model analysis, GIS mapping, and on-site planning needs
  • Carry out traffic impact studies to evaluate the effect of development projects on the transportation network, including data collection during peak periods
Traffic Engineer Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in Florida, EIT considered
