Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer-in-Training with 1–3 years of experience to join our Transportation & Infrastructure unit. The role offers hybrid or remote work with residency in PA; relocation may be required for non-PA candidates.

The successful candidate will apply their college education to traffic design, analysis, and reporting, using Synchro/HCS, MicroStation/OpenRoads and standard MS Word/Excel tools, working on PennDOT and Turnpike projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• EIT certification required; FE exam completed.
• 1–3 years of civil engineering experience, especially in traffic design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Performs advisory or consulting work across broad project areas with innovative aspects.
• Assesses practices to achieve sustainable performance on complex engineering projects.
