Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design.
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board (e.g., PE).
• Hands-on experience with CAD platforms including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun.
• Hands-on experience with safety software including Highway Safety Software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex traffic engineering projects, prepare signal plans, traffic impact analyses and PS&E documents.
• Make decisions on design and engineering procedures as needed.
• Serve as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects.
• Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
