Join to apply for the Traffic Engineer III (PE) role at PRIME AE Group, Inc.

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Engineer with a PE for our West Palm Beach, FL office. The role involves performing traffic engineering design for diverse FDOT projects, including arterial traffic signal retiming, TSM&O dashboards, and studies, with a focus on safety, innovation, and mobility.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing transportation data such as Bluetooth travel times, volume counts, and signal controller data.
• Learning and applying signal timing elements and developing TSM&O Performance Measure Dashboards.
• Conducting safety and mobility analyses, including speed studies and corridor safety mapping.
• Using micro-simulation models (Synchro, VISSIM, CORSIM) and analysis software (SIDRA, Tableau, Power BI).
• Preparing reports, technical memos, and presentations to communicate findings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s preferred).
• PE licensure or PTOE certification.
• At least 4 years of traffic engineering experience.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of traffic control devices, AASHTO, MUTCD, and related standards.
