We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.**Job Summary/Responsibilities*** Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.* Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.* Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.* Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.* Identifies discrepancies in results.* Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.* Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.**Minimum Requirements*** BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education**Preferred Qualifications*** 2+ years of experience in Traffic Engineering and Analysis.* Experience in traffic operational analysis including traffic projections, analysis, and simulation; traffic safety analysis, traffic signal warrants, traffic signal and pedestrian crossing control system analysis, and design; and traffic signing and pavement marking analysis and design.* Experience with Traffic Impact Studies for development and transportation projects.* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)* Experience with traffic analysis and simulation/modeling software including: Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, HCS, and other platforms utilized by local agencies in California.* Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to successfully multi-task, perform detail-oriented work, work independently, and demonstrate effective time management skills.* Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.* Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations, analysis, planning, and writing technical reports.**What We Offer**We will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
