MacKay is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our expanding national infrastructure and environmental services team. This full-time role supports traffic studies for site development, crash analysis, traffic calming, signal timing, and the preparation of traffic control drawings across the MacKay footprint.

Preferred candidates have a civil/traffic engineering degree, EIT, and experience with HCS, Synchro, Sidra, CAD tools, and VISSIM. Office-based flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or traffic engineering.
• EIT registration.
• Experience with traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, Sidra).
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CADD (MicroStation, AutoCad/Civil 3d).
• Experience with VISSIM.

Responsabilités

• Perform traffic studies for site development/site impacts and for public transportation improvement projects.
• Conduct crash data analysis and develop crash diagrams; maintain top accident location list.
• Perform traffic calming studies and propose solutions.
• Develop & review signal timing parameters for new installations.
• Prepare or oversee drawings and installation plans for traffic control devices.
