Lowe Engineers, A Part of MacKay, seeks a Senior Project Manager for our Traffic Engineering team. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects across the Southeast, with responsibility for scope, schedules, budgets, and client updates. PE licensure and strong software proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or traffic engineering
• 7 years of recent experience in traffic or transportation engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Synchro 11 / SimTraffic 11
• Sidra Intersection 9
• HCS 7
• MUTCD and GDOT design guidelines/standards
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope and fee for new project proposals
• Assist in RFP/RFQ write-ups
• Manage project schedules and budgets, including invoicing, and assist in A/R collection efforts
• Work directly with clients, providing project updates and schedules
• Attend public meetings/council meetings for projects as required
• Lead and conduct comprehensive traffic analyses, including Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), Developments of Regional Impact (DRI), intersection, and corridor studies.
• Perform traffic signal design, timing optimization, and diagnostic signalization studies.
• Evaluate and design pedestrian, bicycle, and parking systems, including specialized university-campus pedestrian studies and localized parking analyses.
• Author and maintain technical guidelines, including Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Temporary Traffic Control manuals.
• Utilize advanced engineering software, including Synchro 11 / SimTraffic 11, Sidra Intersection 9, and HCS 7, to model and analyze traffic flow.
