Job Description

Description: As a Traffic Engineer, your primary focus will be on DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects. Your assignments may include signal and intelligent transportation systems design, Advanced Traffic Management System operations, Active Arterial Management, signal retiming studies, safety studies, signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, operational analyses for isolated intersections, complex arterial networks, and freeways.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

1. Serve as a Project Engineer and assist with the design of Signing and Pavement Markings, Signalization, and Lighting Plans.
2. Perform Traffic Signal Analysis using Synchro software.
3. Assist with crash analysis as part of marketing efforts.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• E.I Registration or the ability to obtain it
• IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II certification
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of MicroStation (required) and Synchro software
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
