Job summary

DRMP is seeking a motivated Traffic Design Engineer to join our growing Transportation team in North Carolina. This role focuses on traffic operations, safety, and roadway design support, contributing to impactful transportation projects across NC and beyond.

You will work with roadway designers, planners, and senior traffic engineers on signal and ITS design, signing, pavement markings, work zone traffic control, and supporting DOT and municipal transportation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with traffic design principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with signal timing, ITS concepts, and pavement markings.

Responsibilities

• Tackle signal and ITS design tasks for transportation projects.
• Contribute to signing and pavement marking plans.
