Traffic Copy Editor, KGUN (Administrative)

KGUN, the Scripps ABC station in Tucson, AZ, is hiring a Traffic Copy Editor! The Traffic Copy Editor, in collaboration with account executives, sales management, clients, and agencies, is responsible for scheduling commercial copy and serving as a backup to the log editor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

1. Secure and enter advertising traffic instructions for advertisers.
2. Enter copy information using ad management traffic software.
3. Maintain instruction files, tape library, and other traffic functions.
4. Work closely with account executives, traffic management, clients, and agencies.
5. Act as backup to the traffic log editor as needed, ensuring traffic is scheduled correctly and engineering has necessary information.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Previous broadcast experience, especially with ad management and broadcast traffic systems (e.g., WideOrbit, OSI), is desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and complete work accurately.
