Job summary

City Rise Utility Traffic Control Traffic Control Technician Trainee in North Hollywood is a hands-on role supporting experienced technicians to direct traffic around work zones for utility construction crews. The position is hourly, non-exempt, full-time, with a salary range of $23.51-$28.82 per hour (depends on IBEW Trainee classification).

Union membership is required and valid driver’s license is needed; ATSSA Flagger and First Aid/CPR Certifications are required; outdoor work with variable

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions.
• Assist with maintaining the day-to-day work zone setup, including setup and tear down.
• Meet or exceed customer, state, federal and company expectations.
• Follow company and state guidelines for effective, safe, well managed work zones.
• Drive company trucks as needed.
• Keep equipment in trucks well organized and in working order.
• Develop superior knowledge of work zone setup and professional Flagging responsibilities.
• Willingness to follow direction, maintain a quick pace.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers, on-time arrival and well managed work zones.
• Provide clear direction to customers and the general public moving or traveling around a work zone.
