Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Colorado Traffic Control Supervisor Certification or ATSSA.
• Colorado Flagger Certification and a valid driver's license.
• Two years in roadway construction and traffic control supervision preferred.
• Ability to read plans and follow MUTCD guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develops, interprets and implements traffic routing plans.
• Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site.
• Directs movement of traffic through site using signals.
• Warns laborers and drivers about signal compliance.
• Records license numbers of traffic violations.
• Lays striping materials on roadway.
• May perform Laborer duties when not acting as TCS.
