Job summary

American Striping Company in Centennial, CO, is seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to lead and coordinate traffic control operations across roadway, utility, bridge, highway, and freeway projects.

This role trains crews, ensures safety compliance, and communicates with customers to support project execution. Relocation to Castle Rock, CO planned for late 2026/early 2027; compensation is $27–$35 per hour with day and night shifts and occasional weekend or out-of-town work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of traffic control experience preferred.
• Experience leading traffic crews preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight on a minimal basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs all traffic control duties independently.
• Leads daily traffic control operations and crew assignments.
• Coordinates setup, modification, and removal of traffic control work zones.
• Reviews traffic control plans and ensures field compliance.
• Monitors traffic control activities for safety and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinates with customers, dispatch, and project teams to support project execution.
• Provides training, mentoring, and work direction to traffic control personnel.
• Conducts equipment inspections and verifies readiness of vehicles and materials.
• Completes reporting and documentation timely and accurately.
