Job summary

Colorado Barricade is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor in Fountain, CO. This DOT-related role coordinates and inspects traffic control setups for conformance with MUTCD guidelines and local requirements, and completes all required internal paperwork.

You will supervise TCTs, coordinate dispatch, and perform deliveries while maintaining safety and recordkeeping. A valid TCS or eligibility, clean MVR, and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain CCA or ATSSA TCS Certification or be eligible to procure certification.
• Ability to read maps and knowledge of local streets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with team members inside and out of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
• A passion for working in a high growth business as the pace and expectations of the culture.
• A passion for success, a positive and friendly attitude and a consistent work ethic are all a must.
• A strong knowledge of the traffic control/construction industry is a major plus.
• Willing to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations of the Company and particularly the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Supervise/assist TCT/laborer/driver in traffic control responsibilities.
• Coordinate TCT assignment with dispatch.
• Make deliveries, pick-ups and job checks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and timely Pre-Trip and Post Trip Inspection Paperwork.
