Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Pavement Marking CDL A or B Driver to join our highway striping team. You will help install thermoplastic and waterborne paint and ensure high-accuracy road markings.

We will conduct Background Check, MVR and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-growing company with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating heavy trucks or pavement marking equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read work orders, maps, and do basic arithmetic.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR review, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install pavement marking materials with the striping crew.
• Operate airless paint machines and thermoplastic hand liners.
• Transport equipment and crew to job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and related documentation.
• Set up and operate pavement marking equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and loading.
• Adhere to safety policies on roads and job sites.
• Work with crew to ensure DOT compliance.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work with the highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials
• Operate pavement marking equipment, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Transport pavement marking equipment and crew to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation
• Assist with setting up and operating pavement marking equipment as needed
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and proper loading
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while on the road and on job sites

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during work

Availability:

• Monday through Friday schedule, with possible night and weekend shifts
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
