Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking traffic control laborers to support North and South Texas construction projects. You will assist the crew with various tasks and help ensure safety on site.

Responsibilities include following instructions, hand digging and trenching, pouring concrete, placing asphalt, setting forms, traffic control, erosion control, and general site maintenance. Work hours vary, including days, nights and weekends, and you must be able to work in adverse weather.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position

• Able to follow instructions
• Provide support to the skilled trades
• Hand digging / trenching
• Pour concrete
• Place asphalt
• Set forms
• Traffic control
• Place erosion control devices
• General site cleanup and maintenance
• Follow safety policies & procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned
