Role Description

The Traffic Control Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Snellville, GA. This position is responsible for planning, setting up, and overseeing traffic control operations for roadway and construction projects to ensure the safety of crews, drivers, and pedestrians. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating lane closures and detours, placing and inspecting signs, cones, and barriers, and directing flagging operations in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. The Foreman will supervise traffic control teams, communicate clearly with project managers and field personnel, and adjust traffic control plans in response to changing site conditions. The role also involves completing basic documentation related to traffic control activities and promoting a culture of safety on all job sites.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Traffic Control and Road Traffic to safely set up, monitor, and adjust traffic control patterns for active work zones.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Traffic Management to plan, coordinate, and oversee lane closures, detours, and flagging operations in alignment with project requirements.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and lift or move traffic control equipment as needed.
