Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate traffic control operations on job sites
• Train and supervise crew members in traffic control procedures and safety protocols
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Perform site assessments and ensure proper placement of traffic control devices
• Coordinate with local authorities and project managers to ensure project specifications are met
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are available for the crew
• Inspect work zones to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
• Provide feedback to crew members and address any performance issues

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in traffic control or similar role required (preferred)
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Regular exposure to varied outdoor weather conditions and moving traffic
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

Availability:

• May require working nights and weekends
• Must be available for overtime and occasional overnight travel
